Aquatic Amenities
NSU currently operates two swimming pools designed to meet all of your aquatic needs. Our leisure pool is a ½ Olympic size pool that ranges up to five feet in depth. This pool, located outside the NSU RecPlex, is home to our learn-to-swim program and is temperature controlled year round. Lounge chairs are available so you can work on that "awesome tan", read a book, or just relax.
We also have areas covered with umbrellas and tables so that you can chat with a friend or just “hang out. It is a popular venue for campus organizations to have parties.
Our 50 meter pool and dive well is home to our University School Swimming and Diving program. We are proud to boast it is the largest competition pool in the state of Florida with well over a million gallons of water.
The competition pool can be set up for 50 meter or 25 yard lap swimming and also boasts two, one meter and one, three meter diving boards. If you want to rent the pool for training purposes for your organization, please contact NSU Aquatics for more information.
