Course Descriptions
Lay Responder—This course is intended for those who only need to obtain CPR certification for ADULTS. This course also includes AED & First-Aid Certification for ADULTS. (4 hour course – Certification Valid for 2 years) *You would not be certified to perform CPR/AED/First-Aid on children or infants with this course*.
Pro-Rescuer/Healthcare Provider—This course is intended for those who are or will be working in the medical field or as first responders. For example: Lifeguards, Nurses, Firemen, Police Officers, Medical Assistants etc… This course includes CPR/AED/First-Aid for Adults/Children/Infants. (6 hour course – Certification valid for 2 years)

*Meet at RecPlex Service Desk 5 minutes prior to class – located on the main campus in the Don Taft University Center.

(Ex- CPR for Professional Rescuers, etc…)
