Program Information
The “LUCKY 18”
NSU's 2008 Biggest Loser program officially began on Monday, January 7th. The three teams of six contestants journey will include three (3) team workouts per week for sixteen (16) weeks; monthly team challenges, and weekly individual workouts. Team members will meet bi-weekly with motivational coaches and the university nutritionist. You can chart their journey here as we will provide bi-weekly updates!
The individual who loses the most percentage of weight will be crowned NSU's Biggest Loser! Other awards will be given for team weight loss, improved blood pressure, cholesterol, VO2 max, and more.
Teams Receive:
- Pre, Mid, & Post-Program Physicals With Blood Work
- Pre, Mid, & Post-Program Fitness Assessments
- 3 Weekly Training Sessions With Their Team Trainer
- Weekly Individual Sessions With A “Healthy Lifestyles” Coach
- Monthly Fitness & Nutrition Education Seminars
- Monthly “Team Fitness Challenge”
- Bi-Weekly One on One Sessions with our University Nutritionist.
- Monthly Weekend and Friday Night Group Workout Sessions with a Personal Trainer.
