Fitness Floor

The fitness floor of the RecPlex has over 60 pieces of strength training equipment and thousands of pounds of free weights to accommodate any type of workout program. We have trained staff on site at all times that can assist you in your workout routine and let you know which machines will suit your needs best!
Cardio Deck

The RecPlex has over 80 piece of cardiovascular equipment, all furnished by Star Trac. This includes treadmills, cross trainers, stair climbers, upright and recumbent bicycles, and rowing machines. Notice the flat screen TV’s for your viewing pleasure and all of the engaging site lines this space provides!
Basketball Courts

The RecPlex two court gymnasium can accommodate basketball, volleyball and badminton. Come by for open play or join one of our intramural leagues. Looking for a game, peak usage times are daily from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Multipurpose Room

The RecPlex offers three multipurpose studios that house our group exercise program, martial arts classes, and other special events. The space you are looking at is over 1,200 square feet and can accommodate over 50 people per class!
Climbing Wall

The RecPlex offers a two-story indoor rock climbing wall. The wall is set up with three routes (beginner, intermediate, and advanced), so that you can experience a new challenge every time you climb!
Leisure Pool

The Leisure pool is a great place to relax, read a book, socialize with friends, or work on your awesome tan! The pool ranges up to 5 feet in depth and is home to our instructional swimming program.
Competition Pool

The competition pool is the most recent addition to NSU’s recreational amenities. 50 meters in length and 25 yards wide, the pool has more than 1 million gallons of water and ranges in depth of 5 to over 16 feet. The dive well to the south of the pool has three spring boards, 1 to 3 meters in height. The pool is home to NSU’s swimming and diving teams, a competitive swim club, and water polo activities. This is also where serious lap swimmers can go for their workout!
