Personalized Fitness Training may be your answer!
Recreation and Wellness has a staff of certified Personal Trainers available to all students, faculty, staff, and members of the RecPlex, regardless of current level of health and fitness. Personalized fitness training offers the opportunity to have a program designed to meet your specific needs and to help you achieve positive results safely and quickly.
Jason has been certified and working for five years. He has experience training high school and college athletes, as well as nonathletes as young as nine up through to eighty-five. His training style mainly consists of free weights with machines acting as compliments to the free weight exercises.
Jason can help you achieve a variety of goals, including strength and conditioning, muscle strength, core strength, flexibility, balance, as well as improving general fitness. Anyone who is willing to put in the work to transform their body for the better, Jason is willing to find a way to make it happen.
Tony has been working for ten years and has held his ISSA certification for the past four years. He has experience training a variety of people: children through to senior citizens, with abilities ranging from novice to professional athlete. He uses free weights and the three main bar movements, which are the squat, bench, and deadlift, to train clients. He also helps with footwork.
Tony can help with strength training, flexibility, plyometrics, and injury prevention. He believes that what you put in is what you get out – practice makes permanent improvement.
Before becoming a certified personal trainer, Noelle worked as a gymnastics coach and as a dance instructor for many years. She has experience training clients from pre-teens to seniors. She has worked with clients with a variety of fitness goals such as weight loss, muscle building, toning, increasing range of motion, and improving general health and wellness.
Her training style mainly consists of free weight exercises, always emphasizing correct form. Noelle can help you build muscle strength, core strength, balance, flexibility, improve posture, and enhance confidence in the gym and in everyday life. Her high energy and positive attitude is sure to motivate anyone!
To enroll in the personalized fitness training program, you may visit the RecPlex Service Desk during normal business hours to request a Personal Trainer, fill out all paperwork, and purchase your sessions. You may also print out the forms below and return to them to Recreational Complex Service Desk during normal business hours. Please print out the Personal Training Packet to review the policies and procedures and complete your client profile. Once you have submitted your paperwork, and paid for your sessions a member of our personal training staff will contact you within two business days to schedule. At that time you will set-up a personal training program and schedule.
Note: Personal Trainers will not be assigned without payment and completed paperwork.

I have been working with trainer Tony Rodgers for several months now. I had good expectations coming in, and now I can say they've been met and then some. I began training with a couple of nagging injuries and in worse physical shape than I imagined. I'm very happy with the result thus far, and as I soon become an alumni, I will even likely continue with training moving forward. I hope and expect these same results for anyone considering the training programs with the RecWell center.
