The NSU Healthy Sharks—Wellness Team, through the Office of Recreation and Wellness, aims to assist the NSU Community with achieving lifelong healthy habits and balance in their lives. Our Wellness Team and Chartwells have partnered to help everyone at NSU easily identify all the healthy options on campus through this new initiative. As of April 28, 2017, you will find NSU Healthy Sharks Approved items at Outtakes! These items are reviewed and recommended by our on-campus Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist and the Office of Recreation and Wellness.
Look for the NSU Healthy Sharks Approved stamp to choose items that include whole grain and fresh ingredients, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, water or unsweetened beverages, healthy fats, and healthy proteins. Don’t forget to follow NSU RecWell and see more of our wellness initiatives on social media @NSURecWell today!

1 rice cake 1 tbsp peanut butter 1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 cup oatmeal 3 mashed strawberries (mix) 3 diced strawberries (top)
1/2 cup oatmeal 1 banana 1 tbsp peanut butter
1 wheat wrap 1/2 cup diced chicken 1/2 medium avocado 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1 wheat wrap 2 tbsp peanut butter 1 banana
